ARE YOU A STRONG PROJECT ENGINEER?
Are you someone who “knows” Mechanical Systems…Meaning, you have the “basic knowledge“ of how the systems work & tie together?
Do you enjoy working on 1st class projects of varying size and scope?
Are getting bored doing the same thing day-in and day-out at your current firm and would like new, high end, exciting and challenging projects?

Are you a Mechanical Engineer or Electrical engineer comfortable working with mechanical contractors on their control groups and mechanical/electrical construction projects?
Do you have project experience on general construction projects?
+ Work independently while also collaborating in a team environment
+ Communication with Leadman/Foreman/General Foreman
+ Contract review and development of BudgetProject objectives, policies, proceduresManage change orders
+ Maintain project logs and schedules
+ Monitor construction activities with Foreman to ensure project is on schedule, in compliance with the contract documents, and within budget
+Prepare monthly financial reports
+ Manager procurement and subcontractors
+ Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards
+ Read and interprets instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, and written instructions
+ Identify issues and help come up with solutions with Foreman/General Foreman
+ Train and develop project support staff providing growth opportunities
+ Ensure timely paymentS
+ Read, understand proposal specifications and construction plans
+ Handles process and energy management systems for all types of facilities, including
power plants, wastewater facilities, refineries, hotels, and high-rises
+ Assist and manage the entire control project, from design through final installation and testing
+ work closely with mechanical contractors on projects to ensure a fully-integrated system
+ Work closely with seasoned professional engineers on staff, AutoCad® experts and top-notch project management
+ Remain responsive to client during projects and give quality value and service
+ Successfully tackle a broad range of electrical construction and design/build projects
+ Attend Construction Meetings.
The CONTROLS DIVISION
Our Main Business is DDC Controls Installations for Mechanical Contractors in Hawaii (All Islands).
We also do other Electrical work including – SCADA Controls, Photovoltaic, High Voltage, Switch Gear…
Your job will be to assist with:
95% Mechanical Systems
5% Electrical, PV, SCADA etc.
(Interpreting Drawings / Specifications)
Field Support (Assisting the Field)
Office Support (Drawings, Contracts, Submittals, Material, RFI’s)
+ Project types may include;
electrical construction for industrial plants, petrochemical plants, power generation plants, governmental and military facilities, commercial buildings, hotels, medical facilities, co-gen systems, and industrial and commercial controls. We have performed work on private, Federal, State, and City projects
WHAT A PERFECT FIT LOOKS LIKE;
+ You have 3+ years of successful experience
+ Your experience is rooted in Project Engineering within Electrical Construction, General Construction and Electrical Services, Mechanical Engineering
+ You have a Bachelor of Science Degree
+ Electrical Construction background and Electrical Services background
+ You possess financial management skills including proposal preparation and project budget management, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can multitask working on varying projects
+ You are familiar with and have an aptitude with Vista, MS Office, Field Work Center, Apex Online MR, Bluebeam, Outlook, MS Project, Conest
+ PE or EE is preferred
+ Currently hold a driver’s license
+ You utilize communication skills to leverage relationships
+ You are passionate about Engineering and Project Engineering/Management and enjoy working with the latest technology and advanced techniques
+You are a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
+ You understand the value of communication and interpersonal skills
