We are seeking a dedicated Software Development Manager who's responsibility is to lead a team of developers (7 to 9 persons composed of front-end, back-end and devOps) to deliver applications in line with business requirements. The mission of the Software Development Manager is to deliver software products according to the roadmap and build a team environment of collaboration and trust.   

You will work closely with the a team of young developers that are flexible in their work and that can be molded to match your vision of optimal performance. There is a lot of written procedures and also a lot needs to be done to accommodate growth. You will be actively using your technical skills to coach and mentor your team.

Typical Duties

Is it exciting and challenging for you to:


  • Lead the software development team by:  
    • Recognizing and optimizing the use of individual talents ;
    • Promoting a teamwork attitude;
    • Motivating, coaching and providing feedback to the members of the team;
    • Define the different roles in the development team with clear purposes and accountabilities;
    • Participate in the development of the software products;
    • Delivering products as agreed with Product Management;
    • Participate in the product development strategy with Product Management 
  • Leading the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications.
  • Managing all the activities of the software development team and setting goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Defining project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Providing guidance to the team and ensuring they adhere to development methodologies, standards and best practices.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather project requirements.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and career development discussions.
  • Identifying training and skill development needs for the team.



  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Software Development Manager or Team Lead.
  • Excellent written, problem solving, analytical and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Excellent coach & mentor skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Fluency in English & French are a requirement.


Additional skills

  • Experience in the AV market (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Zephyr (preferred but not required).
  • Fluency in other languages then English & French would be considered an asset.
