ARE YOU A STRONG SENIOR TRAFFIC / TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER?
You will serve as a technical resource for clients and work in a team environment with other professional and technical staff. You will primarily support the roadway design staff, but may serve as a project manager on traffic impact studies, corridor studies, signal re-timing projects, traffic engineering studies, multimodal transportation studies, complete streets studies, parking studies.
+ Provide traffic engineering and planning oversight for roadway, signing, pavement markings, traffic signal and traffic management system design plans.
+ Lead and perform traffic analysis and develop and deliver the associated technical reports for evaluating roadway capacity, alternatives analysis, operational and safety analysis, corridor planning, roadway safety audits, traffic impact analysis, access management and signal warrant analyses.
+ You will be responsible for traffic engineering and planning projects at the state and local level.
+ Support the roadway design staff
+ Serve as a project manager on traffic impact studies, corridor studies, signal re-timing projects, traffic engineering studies, multimodal transportation studies, complete streets studies, parking studies.
WHAT A PERFECT FIT LOOKS LIKE;
+ You have a B.S. in Civil Engineering or related discipline required, PTOE is preferred, but not required.
+ You have 5-10 years’ experience including traffic and transportation engineering for roadways, major and minor intersections, which should include previous project experience working with state and local agencies.
+ Your experience should also include leading and performing traffic analysis and development and delivery of associated technical reports for evaluating roadway capacity, alternatives analysis, operational and safety analysis, corridor planning, roadway safety audits, traffic impact analysis, access management and signal warrant analyses.
+ You have experience with traffic operational analysis software including Synchro, Highway Capacity Software (HCS), and VISSIM is required.
+ You have experience using Highway Safety Manual and knowledge of regulations of state and federal transportation agencies required.
+ You have strong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to work in a team environment are required.
